- is a topical dressing consisting of an aqueous base containing hyaluronic acid and Silver Sulfadiazine;
- Hyaluronic acid, due to its special hygroscopic power, in the presence of skin lesions helps to maintain the microenvironment favorable to the restoration of the biological properties of the skin, such as elasticity and hydration;
- due to the high water content (over 95%), this gel keeps the wound hydrated, promoting tissue healing and promoting debridement in necrotic lesions;
- the presence of Silver Sulfadiazine, an organometallic compound obtained by the reaction between silver nitrate and Sulfadiazine, prevents microbial contamination and protects the wound from other exogenous bacteria.

After proper cleaning of the wound, apply an even layer of 2 or 3 mm to the affected area.
This gel can be applied either directly to the wound or from a sterile gauze/polyurethane/semi-occlusive cleansing disc and applied to the wound to achieve a moisturizing effect.
In this case it can be left in place from 24 hours to 72 hours.

Patients with known hypersensitivity to one of the product's ingredients should not use Sofargen Repair. It is recommended not to use the product for more than 4 weeks.
